The creation of The Tribute Crucible has been an evolution founded on my love for Teamwork, Physical Challenges, and the Outdoors. The event has been the culmination of a lifetime of physical tests; From the Salt Lake City Fire Academy, Adventure Races, 100 mile mountain bike races, SealFits Kokoro class #40 and more.
I've loved each of these experiences but realized the physical challenges are a MUST but NOT enough, so my objective became to challenge participants physically, as well as, emotionally and spiritually.
I started by maximizing my own strengths and personal connections, which lie mainly in my background as a collegiate athlete and current employment with the Salt Lake City Fire Department. I saw a way to bring people together based on the IDEALS and SPIRIT of the Men and Women serving our country in military, fire, and police services.
Their stories and sacrifices are truly reason to pay tribute! Our heroes are those that place themselves in a position of harm so that others may live. Our mission is to PAY TRIBUTE to them through ACTION. Our Crucible event is 30+ hours, but the Tribute will last a lifetime!

TRIBUTE THRU ACTION
Our Mission is to pay tribute to First responders and the Men and Women of our Armed Services in a unique and challenging way.
It wasn't enough for us to provide a stand alone physical challenge.
IT NEVER FELT RIGHT TO ONLY CELEBRATE AND REMEMBER THE LIVES OF THE FALLEN ON THE ANNIVERSARY OF THEIR SACRIFICE.
The creation of the Tribute Crucible combines the power of doing hard things with an opportunity to carry on the legacies of our heroes.
AS A PERSONAL TRAINER I HAVE HAD THE CHANCE TO SHARE MY ENTIRE EXPERIENCE WITH MY CLIENTS AND HAVE A RENEWED APPROACH TO BE ABLE TO PUSH THEM THROUGH HARDER THINGS. THERE HAS NOT BE AN HOUR THAT HAS GONE BY IN MY DAY, EVERY DAY, WITHOUT A MEMORY OF OUR WEEKEND.
We ALWAYS REMEMBER. We remember the spirit and the lives of our heroes. We remember those who chose to run towards harms way to protect us, so that we may have an opportunity at another day. Every day is precious. Every day counts. They are an inspiration to do the little things in a BIG way.
You never know when adversity will strike. You are either ready or you aren't.
What if you went on the offensive? What if instead of waiting for life to give you a setback you took the challenge to life? What if you ATTACKED everyday as an opportunity to prepare yourself for that next LIFE SIZE challenge. This is how our heroes reacted. They may not have known the exact challenges that would arise but it doesn't matter. Mentally. Physically. They were ready. Our Tributes are a step towards that preparation.
